I am trying to change the host account login name and the only way to do it seems to be to create a new one and delete the old one.  However, I cannot delete the old host account.

I know that in case of Admin account the portal administrator has to be reassigned to delete the old admin account, but cannot find an equivalent for the host account.

So how can I delete the default host account?

Thanks,
qborba

make sure, there is no other data associated with your host account, AFAIK there is no code relying on a specific host name or userID.

I don't think you can delete the default host account. I just tried by creating a new host account and the delete option is only visible for the newly created one. You could use a work around and modify the username of the original one to match whatever you're trying to set as the new host username... - have you tried that?

PS - this would have to be done via the tables themselves and not thru the front end GUI..
