Hello,

I am using version 04.08.04 of DNN. I have these two aliases added: machinename/i   and  localhost/i .

I cannot access my web site through: http://machinename/i/   but only throught http://localhost/i/

Interesting part is that if I require a custom tab to display then it works example: http://machinename/i/Default.aspx?tabid=56 , and I can access all the links except when i try to go to the homepage that doesn't show anything. It stays requring for the page.

Any help is appreciated

Thanks

Login as Host and go to the Host Menu | Portals.

Select the portal you want to use and then add the Machine name as an alias for the portal.  It could fix the problem.
