I have a unique sitiuation that I need some help on.  In our environment a user can have two roles or one or the other.    We limit what a user can see using these roles.  In some instances users with both roles, who normally can see everything, will do something that will want us to limit their view of a particular tab.  Is there a DNN method that we can use that will keep the tab hidden until the "flag" has been removed?

I was hoping it to write something similiar to:

 if obj.getflag(user) = true { tab[index].hide = true} or maybe leverage a DNN method I haven't found, like dnnObj.HideTabs(tabname).

Thanks for your help.

Chad

I don't know how you might approach this, but all the tab information is stored in the cache, you might have to get in on the core code that is displaying the cache to look at your specific requirements. I don't know of any methods that would allow you to access this info and modify it from the outside.
