I need to deploy a Paypal "Donate" button.  The html that Paypal provides has <form> tags in it.  I assumed that I could just dump the html in a text/html module and I'd be golden.  However, after formatting the proper method, action, and values in the text/html module... the end result does not direct you to the proper link (Paypal), instead it just reverts you to the site's homepage (my client's site not paypal's site).  I've been working on this one for several days with no luck.

Thanks for any help you can provide,

Troy Lampley

You can put the Paypal "Donate" button HTML code at skin.

If you are not familiar with skin design ,you can use third part module,

free one:http://www.apollo-software.nl/DotNetNuke/Modules/FreeModules/tabid/83/language/en-US/Default.aspx

commericial one: http://www.snowcovered.com/Snowcovered2/DotNetNuke/Modules/PayPal-Donations-26-w-IPN/id/8550

I tried the free one from Apollo-Software and it works great!  I was even able to change the button graphics.  Thanks for your help Nicholas.

Troy,

In the PayPal merchant tools, recreate the Dontate button but DO NOT ENCRYPT IT.

You can use the resulting e-mail link as a link to your paypal donation page.
