hi,

i already deploy dnn portal on my root web. but when i put my application under dnn, it cannot be run. it said like web.config conflict. for example: i put the dnn on: http://localhost , and i put my application on: http://localhost/myapp . what should i do? thanks. yugi

This is an issue with the .NET framework and not DNN. Check out this page on how to solve the web.config inheritance problem and, coincidently, he uses a DNN site as an example of his parent site.

I'm having a similar problem (See post http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/108/threadid/254964/scope/posts/Default.aspx) where I've removed all the inherited lines from the child web.config but DNN is still taking over the default.aspx on all my child apps. I'm about to go bald from pulling all my hair out on this one :)
