I have a couple of questions...

1. I tested my skin on various browsers FF, IE, Safari etc, and discovered that my DNN site won't properly display on any of the IE6 versions with or without plug-ins. Has anyone ever had this issue and what suggestions would you be able to provide to resolve common IE6 problems... a link to a site with this too would be helpful since my search has been unsucessful? Is it a matter of changing the doctype? or can you have two doctypes one for IE and one for everything else? reason being is that the solpart menu is what is throwing off the entire site and is adding lots of padding and white space when the site is black.

2. Is it possible to do a container in purely CSS without using tokens because I just can't grasp why its done that way or understand how to make it work? all the examples I have found online are table based layouts and would like to know if anyone can link me to a site that can show me how to do this.  I have found some sites; however they all charge some kind of money in order to watch the video tutorials. Frustrating because it is hard to learn this stuff when the resources to learn dnn either cost money or based solely on tables and not css and the only training available is in the USA. Anyone know of some workshops on skinning in Canada?

The issues with IE6 are most likely related to common IE6 differences when it comes to tables, CSS, and HTML in general.  I strongly recommend doing a bit of research to find sites that outline the common IE6 items, as they are not isolated to DNN implementations.

Regarding the containers, you can create a container using DIV's without a problem, you need to use either the tokens (HTML base) or server controls (.ascx) based to actually handle the creation of them to ensure that users are provided the needed controls to work with a module.

Hi there

Well I was able to do the containers pure CSS without the use of tables, however I had no choice but to use some tables to align my images that were floating and some that had css properties that IE6 doesn't recognize. Unfortunaly I was not able to get this issue resolved. But thanks anyways!
