I am implementing DNN as Intranet.

Currently there are lot of shared folders in the file server. I want to integrate these folders and files in the intranet project. Is there a way to show shared folders, so it is easier for users to copy files there through DNN.

I am aware of Repository Module, but I want a tool that is more flexible, where I would create space where users would put their files, but in a way to control their permissions based on folders.

Thanks in advance!

you might have a look at the documents module in the DNN Forge (see icon above), though I haven't tried yet and English documentation is few. Another option might be DMX module from www.bring2mind.com
