Hi,

I need several fields added to my users, normally profile display rules, but only editable by an admistrator.   Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Alex

log in as an admin/superuser and go to admin->user accounts, click "manage profile properties" . you can use this UI to add the fields and make them visible , required , etc.

Sorry, I know and understand the feature you are referencing

I need a field that ONLY an administrator can EDIT.

TIA

you could add a field, but not make it visible to the user. Administrators would still be able to see the field and make any updates.
