I logged in under my admin. account and can't see the module contents anywhere on the site.  I can login under a member account and the contents are there.  I don't believe I made any changes that would effect this and nothing appears amiss in the site log history.  Anyone have any ideas for me to try? thanks

You have put your admin user into "Design Mode."  How to get from Design to Edit mode depends on the version of DotNetNuke that you are using.  If you are using 4.8 or 4.9, there is a radio button just above the control panel.  In older versions, I think that there is a link in the control panel.

Nope, one of the first things I looked at.  The modules are still there, the contents are not visible.  If I login under the su login, it's fine.  If I login under my 'member name' it's fine.  Just when I login in under the Admin. user role.  I might add that this is across the entire site except  the home page.  I'm wondering if there's something crossed up in the sql database between my different logins ?   I did delete my 'member' login because I wasn't using it now that the site was up and running with minimal problems.  That's why I'm sorta wondering about the database.  I re-established my member login, but that didn't help anything.  I've gone thru and looked at all page view/edit permissions.  I'm about out of things to look at now.

Now all pages are blank, including the home page.   This is rather frustrating since I don't find anything wrong.  The containers only show up like they are minimized regardless of wether they are or are not.  I've check all the hosting admin. settings and don't find anything changed.   Toggling between edit and view in the control panel doesn't do anything.  Refreshing the page doesn't do anything.  I've put in blank lines in the web.config file  to force a reload of the site and it didn't help.  Along with this...at approximately the same time I'm seeing application re-starts showing up in the event log farily regularly.  Apparently tied to the Events module.

I am having a similar problem...

An account that has permissions to view/change the content suddenly lose the ability to view the content of the modules. The only way the recover the functionality is to delete the account, create a new account and assign the appropriate permissions. Recreating the account with the original name also works.

Then, at a random interval, this account will again lose the ability to view content and a new account will have to be created.

version is currently 4.09
