Please help!

I am the portal administrator working with the new Active Forums 4.0 module and I am looking to create a private Users Group Forum for our software customers. I have everything created and set up except for the registration of new users. Please note that the forum is a seperate Sub Portal of our company website.

I have made the portal private, and customized the information required at registration. Then I hit submit and it gives me an automated message stating:

An e-mail with your details has been sent to the portal administrator for verification. Once your registration has been approved an e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address: .............

The problem is that I am not receiving any verification emails. I have tried to change the admin's email to my private email as well and still get nothing! Has anyone experienced this problem before or has a suggestion on what I may be doing wrong ... my deadline is approaching and I have no answers ...

Thank you for you help,

Greg
