I just upgraded our intranet from 3.1.1 to 3.2.2 (in a test environment of course). We have been using the dnn:treeviewmenu for some time and it's worked great. I had level set to "parent" and everything was fine. I upgraded and now I'm encountering two problems:

1. I can't get the first level of children to show. I set the expanddepth attribute to 1 , 2, 100, etc. and still it only shows the parent. Previously, it had shown the parent and its first level of children. I've got 1,000 users who are accustomed to that and I'll get lynched if I move their cheese again.

2. When you navigate to a child page, you no longer get the folder up icon. Where'd it go? The documentation shows that it should be their when you set level to "parent", but it's not. Again, I'll be lynched if I can't get the folder up option back.

Please help. Thanks.

1)  Just to make sure I understand you, are you saying that you expect to see the selected node to be expanded?  The Expanddepth property that you are referring to is used in the populate on demand functionlity (how many levels deep should a request pre-populate).  I believe if POD is disabled (default), then I can pre-expand the selected node... just verify for me that this is what you are expecting (so we are on the same page).

2) I just checked and was suprised to see that this was indeed functioning wrong.  I will post a fix to this that you can make manually if you like (a little later), otherwise you can get the fixed version in DNN 3.3.

Also, if you wouldn't mind creating a Gemini ticket for this.

1. Yes. In 3.1.1, the selected node would be expanded showing it's immediate children (but not grandchildren or great-grandchildren, etc.). If we could somehow return that behavior, that would be great.

2. I'll open a ticket. And we'd like to implement 3.2.2 as soon as we can, so if you could let me know when the manual fix is ready, that would be great.

Thanks again.

Please try the code I posted in the gemini issue and report back to me on whether it addresses all your issues.

Oh. Sorry about that. Didn't realize you needed a response...

Yeah. It works great. I replaced the code for the BuildTree method with the code you provided and it worked like a champ.

Thanks again for all your help and your prompt attention.
