 Hi,

I designed website Using the DNN in the localhost.

its working fine.

Now i want to make Live in the Host server.

What steps i have to do for Make my website in Live.

anyone can explain how is possible?

It depends on what kind of hosting you have, anyway if it has all the components you need to run your version of DNN , so you only need to copy the whole DNN files on the server also make backup of your Database and restore it on the host server, then in the PortalAlias table insert the going to be host name of your site, set the permission of your host's DNN folder, also make neccessary changes to the web.config (changing the ConnectionString to connect to the new database).

Hi Arash,

1. can u explain short steps how can i backup my database?

2. If i change portalalias, my href links are broken, because before links are given in localhost, its redirected to localhost pages.
