Any time I click any Edit buttons, buttons in the control panel, etc, it simply does a post back and reloads the page. I cannot edit. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!!!!

Can you restart the application in the host settings or updating the web.config file?

When I hit Restart Application in the Host Settings it does the post-back like I described. When you say updating the web.config file, what do you mean?

I seem to constantly get an error stating this:

The process cannot access the file 'PathToFiles\Website\Portals\_default\Cache\F61CBEA3764B44AF06566CB85FCF5364.resources' because it is being used by another process.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

I used FileMon to look at the requests to my File Server from the application. It looks like I am having 2 problems:

1. Sometimes when the app attempts to save a cache resource file there is a BUFFER OVERFLOW error
2. Sometimes when the app attempts to get a cache file, the request has garbarge at the end thus returning a NOT FOUND or NO SUCH FILE

Maybe my purge cache scheduler event is not working properly? Maybe there are too many files (all are 0kb by the way, is that normal?) and when it is attempting over and over again to access a file that doesn't exist, it returns a buffer overflow when trying to save new ones? I am just conjecturing here to save my sanity. :)

did you check for proper permissions granted to "Network Service" in file system?
