I'm changing my site that currently runs on IPB to user Dot Net Nuke and need to know how I can copy all the users for the current site accress.

So far I've coped all the usernames and email address's to the Users table and UserPotals table. This has worked fine and they all appear in the User Accounts section.

However im now stuck with the passwords. I can't copy the passwords accross as they were all encrypted in the last DB so I was going to reset them all and make the users request a password reminder. Problem is though the reset password button doesn't work and I can't even manually enter a new password. Im assuming this is because the entry in the db where the current password should be doesn't exist.

So can anyone tell me what other tables need to have an entry in them and is there anything special about what I have to put in.

Tim,

You need to populate the membership tables.  Generally speaking, I export users into an XML format and then use a custom page to import them.  I do this based on John Mitchell's blog.
