Hi,

I have installed Miscrosoft Framework 3.5 SP1 on my pc and  deleted Microsoft Framework 3.5 due to space crunch. Will my vs2008 run fine with that. In other words does miscrosoft Framework 3.5 SP1 contains the whole framework to support the vs 2008 or I must have Microsoft Framework 3.5 (shipped with vs2008).

Point is, if Framework 3.5 SP1 is in itself a sufficient thing then can I remove Microsoft Framework 3.5 to avoid hard disk space crunch.

Please let me know.

Thanks

Dobs

I don't know, but if you install VS2008 I am sure it will install whatever is necessary to run it.

since you cannot install .Net 3.5 and 3.5 SP1 side by side, 3.5 SP1 will always replace the 3.5 files, if necessary and need 3.5 to be installed. After installing SP, you may remove backed up files.
