hello a friend

i hope to slove the problem about xss exploit's

my friend advice me to secure my portal

http://www.**********.com/dotnet/SearchResults/tabid/38/Default.aspx?Search=%22%3E%3Cscript%3Ealert(HaCKeD)%3b%3C%2fscript%3E

look at (hacked) if you open the URL  will see the message box (HaCKeD)

how i can fix this problem ?

Hi M6,

The DotNetNuke framework is strongly secured against XSS and XSS-related attacks.  As such, upgrading to the most current version is your best bet for continued protection.  The attack you outline does not operate against DotNetNuke.com (running 4.9), nor against my local , so I strongly suspect that you are running an older version.

If upgrading to version 4.9 does not solve your problem, I'd ask that you report your issue to the security alias at security@dotnetnuke.com for further investigation.
