We have web servers behind a Cisco Load Balancer with a SSL Accelerator module.  The secure traffic terminates at the SSL Accelerator and the web server and the Load Balancer talk unencrypted.  It appears that when the return is handled it sends an http response. (not https)

So on a DNN site where we have set a page to secure, it gets into a redirect loop.

There appears to be a couple of other people experiencing the same issue as seen in the comments to the DataSprings article on enabling SSL in DNN.
http://www.datasprings.com/Resources/ArticlesInformation/DotNetNukewSSL/tabid/827/language/en-US/Default.aspx

Also found this article dealing with the WebSphere Commerce; I know this has nothing to do with DNN, however it demonstrates the same situation and it appears that there is a way to configure the application to fix this.  http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/library/techarticles/0609_guminy/0609_guminy.html

If anybody has any insight into how to help us solve this I would be very grateful.

Thank you,
Chas
