Hello,

How do you remove the search from the menu bar? I have tried searching the forum but it seems all the threads on this topic have been removed. Any info would be a tremendous help!

You do this by modifying the skin file. Try the portals/_default/skins folder, in there you'll find a minimal-extropy folder (spelling may be different) with some ASCX files. Look in the ASCX file for the search options.

You might also just apply a new skin to your portal without the search functionality in the skin.

thanks! I had tried to do that but it kept crashing my dreamweaver... I'll see what I can do with a different skin.

You can open it with Notepad instead of dreamweaver. You won't get the text highlighting, but it'll be the same file.
