I have set up a new Property on the User Profile for members to enter their Birthdate.  Required format is mm/dd/yyyy.  I have been trying to use a regular expression to validate this but it doesn't seem to work.  It seems that a user can type anything they want and it saves it without validation.

The expression I am using is (0[1-9]|1[012])[- /.](0[1-9]|[12][0-9]|3[01])[- /.](19|20)\d\d

I've tested this expression in a simple aspx page with an asp.net validation control and I know the expression is good.

Any help would be appreciated.

Best Regards, Dave VanderWekke
