I am looking to have a page on my site where registered users can log in and pick up files I have left for them.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Gene (newbie)

Gene,

Built in to DNN, you have two choices with the Documents module and the Repository module.  If your needs are a little more complex, I have had good luck with Document Exchange from  http://www.bring2mind.net/

there are two more options built in : Links (installed by default) and UserDefinedtable (allowing custom attributes, master-detail and easy templating).

Hi Sebastian,

Is there any reason you would use the Links module instead of the Documents module?  It never occured to me to use it for that purpose.

Hi Bill, sure there is, e.g. if you have an article on a page with some downloads, you would like to present in a side list, Links renders much smaller...
