I just upgraded to v5 and it looked like everything went ok with the db scripts and all, I ended up with click here to visit your portal.  I clicked the link and my portal loaded just fine, however after logging in as host and attempting to visit the host link I received a Server Application Unavailable message telling me to check the event logs.  I checked the event logs and found ID 1062 and learned that I needed to create a separate Application Pool for different versions of .net.  I created a new app pool based on the default, asigned the new pool to my dnn instance, restarted IIS, refreshed my browser, clicked the login button and I'm redirected back to my portal home page without a login screen.  At this point I can't get a login screen.  Can anyone help?

Patients is a virtue, I waited a few minutes and now I can login, however when I click the host tab I’m still getting:

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested Url: /tabid/16/portalid/0/Default.aspx

Server Error in '/' Application.

The resource cannot be found.

more info:

I'm not able to get to any Admin or Host utility menu, however I can get to Edit text pages on Text/HTML modules and see the nice curved look and feel that I'm asuming is v5.  Whenever I click any Admin util menu item I get:

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested Url: /Admin/Skins/tabid/49/Default.aspx

Server Error in '/' Application.

The resource cannot be found.

One other bothersome question?  Should I be able to see .net framework 3.0 or 3.5 in IIS anywhere?  Because I can't, both can be seen in Add Remove Programs but neither show up under Web Service extensions in IIS.

I'm about to puke.

OK I've learned that the 3.5 .net is not a version but a library revision and all is well with it's install.  So I'm cool with that however I'm still nauseous over the lack of admin and host access.
