We would like to be able to restrict the size of image files that users are allowed to upload.

We are using fck editor and their image upload utility; our users do not have access to File Manager. We have managed to restrict the size of files allowed, through the DNN web.config file, by changing httpRuntime maxRequestLength. However, this just throws an error page and we would like to be able to handle the error to display a meaningful page to the user.

Any ideas please?
