I'm trying to change the email address for my Administrator account to a gmail account.  The account address is accepted, but no user notifications will go out.  If I change the Administrator email to SomeUser@foo.edu or some other non-gmail account, the user notifications go out.  Is there a restriction against using gmail accounts for Administrator email addresses?

I tested the gmail value that I was using for the Administrator by putting it in a new user account.  Email went out to the user, as long as the administrator did not have the gmail address, too.

Thanks.

There is not restriction from DNN, but you need to be sure that the authentication information is correct for whatever mail server you are using.

Also, gmail has "issues" if you send e-mails to yourself from outside of the gmail interface.
