Hi

I have pages which shouldn't appear on the top menu. They should be linked from some pages on the top menu. How can I create and handle those pages?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, when you create the page - you know - click add page from the top control panel, it opens a new page, where you put the title and stuff. Not far down from there, you'll see a dropdown box - if you drop it down you can see the parent page, to the top menu pages - most likely home, you set that to show, and then that page will sit under the home page.

Cool isn't it! Once you've got one worked out, the rest is easy.

Thanks for the quick help.

However, I don't understand what you mean. When I add a new page, I see 'Page Management' page. On the 'Page Details' section, I have a drop down ment for 'Parent page' so that I can choose the parent page for a new page. If I don't choose a parent page, the new page will be the same level as the Home page.

My concern is that I can't create a new page which will not be shown on the top horizontal menu. I really need that. For your reference, I am using DNN 3. Do I need DNN 4 or something like that?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks for the help.

I am creating kind of English learning pages. For example, on one page, let's say "Useful Expressions", there is a list of English expressions. And anybody can go to this page clicking top menu. I create hyperlink for each expressions. That is, if customers of my site click one of the expressions, it will move to the page which explains that expression. In this case, I want that page not to be on the top horizontal menu because there will be a lot of expressions. If those pages must be on the top menu, I must have hundreds of menu. Therefore I would like to hide all the pages of details of English expressions from the top horizontal menu.

I hope you understand my explanation.

Thanks in advance.
