just a warning to those using this field/ option on Page Settings: Advanced.
the help says:
Page Header Tags
Tucked away in the advanced page settings is a field that allows you to specify additional meta tags on a page by page basis. For instance, to keep Google from archiving the page, enter <meta name="robots" content="noarchive">.
you could put in anything, but we just discovered that if you have an open tag, look out!
you will end up with the tag eating all your page content, and with no way to get back and remove the offending code.
we pasted in:
<!--
H1 a:link, H1 a:visited, H1 a:active H1 { color: #007b3a; padding: 0px 0px 2px 0px; border-bottom: 1px dotted #90c0a4; font: 18px Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif; display: block; }
H1 a:hover { color: #006600; text-decoration: none; display: block; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-color: #006600; }
.SubHead a:link, .SubHead a:visited, .SubHead a:active { font-
and the page content disappeared. I am not sure if my person did a bad cut/paste, or if the field truncates at some max characters?
in any case, you would need to delete the page and start over. If you have modules on the page referenced on another page you may not be able to delete it at all. You will not be able to get to the Edit Settings page to fix this.
if there is a way out of this, I would like to know about it.
thanks,
