Hello,

 

 I have added a new alias but I'm not sure if there are additional steps that I need to do

 

I have my dnn at www.xxxxxx.com/CMS

 

I added my site alias www.xxxxxxx.com

 

but does not seem to work ? when I go to my site I sill get the index page of the site.

 

Any idea?

Musab,

 

I think you need to restart the application (host settings button at the bottom) to make it take the new alias start to work.  You may also be able to restart it by adding an enter to your current web.config file and saving it.  Or just wait 24 hours :)

Just wanted to jump in here and say that this is the exact same issue I have. I entered my alias about 2 weeks ago. I have also clicked the Host settings button at the bottom. No change.

 I restarted the application, Didn't work, I actually couldn't find any web.config file under my root directory.
