Hi Everyone.

I sucessfully setup a dnn(4.x) website on a test server.  The test server's ip address was 198.168.1.77 at one point, but since it was dhcp based, it changed to 192.168.1.x one day and the whole website stopped working since it was only looking for 192.168.1.77.  Wanting to go forward I just gave the server a static ip of 192.168.1.77 again, so the whole website started working again and I moved forward.

Testing the procedure of uploading the whole site from development to production, I setup another entirely new test webserver on a different physical computer.  I tranfered all the files, worked through some little errors, and now when I type in localhost on a web browser, it passes the first authentication, then gets forwarded to 192.168.1.77 again!  I know this because another authentication box pops up saying "please enter login information for 192.168.1.77 (not the exact wording but you know what i mean)"  I'm trying to look for the hard coded entry of 192.168.1.77 but I can't find it!

Someone please help!

Check the PortalAlias table in the Database for the IP address, you can change/add/remove directly in that table if necessary.
