Getting the follwoing error when going into Settings mode for module (any module):

An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.UI.Containers.ActionButton.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Any help is appreciated.

Can you view your log viewer and see if there is any message there?

Do you have a module set to view on all pages?

Do you have a custom skin or container set?

It's a very generic error unfortunately and doesn't give enough information on how to answer.

Hi Nina:

There was an error in one of the containers.

In the container.xml file, I forgot to put some HTML into the CDATA tag. Without it, it generated an exception.
