Hi.

The logo file from my portal has suddenly stopped displaying. The file is in the Portal/0/ folder, and the skin css is correct, but when I go to the control panel, under portal settings, the logo.png file does not appear as one of the files to choose. Until now, it was displaying fine.

I'd appreciate any ideas.

Steven

Steven,

- Which DNN version are you running?

- did you disable the SyncFiles Job in Host :: Scheduler? Enable AutoSync in Host Settings instead.

- perform a full recursive sync in top right corner of Admin :: File Manager.

Thanks, Sebastian.

I'm running 5.0, and while I was waiting for an answer, the file re-appeared. I'm glad to know what to do, the next time this happens.

I am facing the same issue. I am using DNN starterkit package to create a DNN based site. The version is 5.5.0. While I was working on it, the logo accidentally disappeared. I went to Edit Portal. If I chose Portal Root, there was no item in File dropdownlist. Please help me to solve this issue.

nmduc, please validate file permissions of the windows account used by the ASP.Net account (see app pool configuration) for the portals folder and perform a recursive sync in Admin :: File Manager.
