I'm new to DNN and had a coworker download and install a skin for my site but I do not like the color of the buttons. The skin came with a PSD file which I can easily edit but how do I upload the new button color.

Sorry if this sounds dumb but like I said, I'm new to DNN

Thanks

It depends on the skin itself, but you will likely find in the portals/_default/skins folder or in the portals/0/skins/ folder a folder for your skin. In there may be an Images folder that houses the buttons. It's also possible that the colors are controlled through a skin.css file in one of those folders.
