I just switched my company to a new skin with a flash header http://www.ihplan.com/ and would like to know if i set heavy caching..will this improve the load time and overall performance? anything else i can tweak to make this load faster??

That site loaded extremely quickly for me....so I'm not sure why you think there's a problem.

If the load time different within your network vs outside of your network?  Do you host your own server?  Do you have your own DNS server?

When we changed out network configuration, adding an Astrocom appliance to allow for fault tolerance in case one of our internet connections drop, we did notice a difference when viewing one of our DNN sites within our network vs accessing it from the outside (it was faster from the outside).  We ultimately configured different DNS records that are used within our network that solved the problem.

thats good enough for me :)

no...the server is a dedicated server hosted by aPlus. our ISP here in the office is sometimes slow so that my be the factor.
