There is visual grid in DNN 4.x edit mode. When you switch to the edit mode in DNN5 the width of ContentPane is constant (example: Host   »   Module Definitions).

So how to change width of ContentPane in DNN5?

you will need to look at the CSS of your skin file.

If you look at the CSS for this site(dotnetnuke.com) you'll see the following commented section:

/*--------- pane style ----------*/

 

if you look below that comment you'll find all the dimensions for all the panes....(this is the skin.css file in the skin folder of the skin you are using :->)
