Hello all,

This is probably a super-basic question, but I haven't been able to figure it out.  I want to create a link in an HTML/Text module, but when I try to browse for the file on my server, it only shows .jpg and .gif files.  The file I want to link to is a PDF.  The file exists, but how can I get it to show?  I thought that it might be because I was just copying and pasting the file into the folder and that I would have to upload it to get it to show up, but when I tried that, I got an error saying "Please Contact Your Hosting Provider To Ensure The Appropriate Security Settings Have Been Enabled On The Server."

I did some research and some people say that it is a permissions issue, but aspnet and network service have full access to the folder.  I've also made sure that PDF is a valid extension file type for uploading.

I just need to know if there is an easy way to get files to show up in the link select drop down box?

 Thanks,

Kevin

Also make sure that PDF is a "legal" file type on the Host Settings page.
