hi all,

right now i'm creating custom module for SSO (single sign on) purposes. in part of my code, i need to write cookies from my custom module. i've add this code:

---------------------------

HttpCookie cookie = new HttpCookie("myCoolCookie");

cookie.Domain = "mydomain.com";

cookie.Value = "xyz";

Response.Cookies.Add(cookie);

----------------------------

but the cookie fail to be written.

there are anything missed? how do i write a cookie from my custom DNN module?

any idea will be appreciated.

thanks in advance.

hi all,

i found the solutions. i missed adding the dot in front of the domain name. according to this document: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms178194.aspx we should add a dot in front of the domain name.

i should write: cookie.Domain = ".mydomain.com" , instead of cookie.Domain = "mydomain.com" (without the dot).
