Simon,
Before putting Symantec security on a web server test it on a server you don't mind trashing, or on a virtual image.  Last time we looked at it for a server software firewall it created all types of problems.  In the end we went with Tiny Professional, unfortunately this has now been bought by CA and things appear to be up in the air.

i was given a copy of symantec enterprise firewall but when i tried to load it it said it will only run on a server with two network cards so i think i'll stick with sygate pro and trend server protect antivirus.

Luckily i have three dell servers here so i use one to test stuff on before it goes onto the main webserver. I'd like to have two of servers online but my connection is not fast enough yet lol
