Hi!

I have problem on IIS 7 with DNN (4.9 and 4.6 versions). When I disable Anonymous authentication and enable Windows authentication I get Redirect Loop message on opening webpage and when I put back that Anonymous authentication and disable Windows authentication, I can open site without redirect loop error but can't login. When I type username and click login, opens home page but I am not logged in.

I think that this both problems is issues of IIS 7, because with IIS 6 I didn't have this problems and when I enable Windows and forms authentication, site works fine without problem. I google for it and found some solutions which didn't worked and will try install 3.5 framework.

Is there anyone else that had this kind of problem on IIS 7 with DNN site?

Thanks, Ivan

I'm having the same exact problem.  But I can't figure out the solution!!!    The site works perfectly on XP pro.  But I can't get it working on Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit (IIS7).

Did anyone find the solution to this? I'm having exactly the same issue.

Thanks,

George

I'm having the same issue with DNN 5.1.2. I testing migration from a Windows Server 2003 R2 32 bit machine running IIS 6 to a Windows 2008 R2 64 bit machine running IIS 7.

Has anyone figured this out?

Thank you,
Adam

I strongly encourage you to use a more recent version, for security reasons you should upgrade to 5.6.2 (though there are a number of known bugs)
