I am using the DNN Newsletters under the "Admin" menu... does anyone know how to customize/change the preformatted text that is not included in the Rich Text Editor? Ex: Auto-insert of first name/email/user role in email. Thanks!

Use the language editor from either the admin or host menu, item languages - admin to create a portal specific version or host, if you want to alter default text (note: this gets overwritten on updates).

Select the appropriate resource file from the tree on the left, AFAIR this should be Global Resources /app_GlobalResources for the email texts and change the value in the text boxes below.

Does anyone know how to do this? There must be a newsletter template somewhere.

Cheers,

Hmmm... it looks like you cannot configure this! If I'm not mistaken its hard coded to the Full Name in "BulkEmail.ascx.vb". If you are using DNN version 4 then you can edit this file to change the behaviour... but I think for those of us using version 3 we might be stuck with the full name in the newsletter.

Please correct me someone as I would rather be wrong about this! :)
