I am working on a site that serves a neighborhood home association. They recieve emails every week or so with information from the City. These are notifications and other types of information.

There are many of them..., some are for a specific date, some will be valid for some time, etc... We would like to list each so the site user can choose which one(s) they want to read. We prefer not to create a new page for every one.

Some of the information emails use html in the body and some are just text.

Questions...
What is the recomendation for converting the email body (text or html) to what format, image or document?
What is the recommendation for listing/linking/accessing the files in the site from specific pages?

It would be nice to use the date functionality if possible so when the information is old it can be discarded.

I appreciate any help with this.

you may use the announcements module to display all messages, however, if you need to distinguish (and filter) by category, Repository module has this feature, as well as  NewsArticle from www.ventrian.com, which is easier to setup and use for this purpose IMHO.
