Hello. I am using 4.9.1. I am having an issue that is jeopardizing the go-live of my site. The Search Input in the header always takes me back to the homepage. I added a Search Input Box site, and that goes to the Search Results page as expected. I checked the Module Definitions, and all the Supported Features: Portable, Searchable, Upgradeable are grayed out so they can't be unchecked. The Search Results and Search Input modules are set to View for all users. I can't find anyway to configure the Search Input box in the header. This is terribly frustrating. I can't find any info anywhere and I can't go live with it acting this way. Is there any way to remove the search input box from the header until I can get to the root of it?

did you make sure, there is only a single Search Results module on any page of your portal (including the ones in the recycle bin)?

Thanks Sebastian. Deleting all of my junk out of the recycle bin actually helped. I am getting closer, as I can now search from the header input box, but it will only show results if the Search Results module is on the homepage. If I delete it there (and in the Recycle Bin after that) and put it on the Search Results page where it should be, I get the same behavior. But this time I also noticed that regardless where the search input box is, it always redirects to the home page, where there is no Search Results module installed. The only way it works is to have both the input and Results module on the homepage for some reason. I even tried to make the search Results page a child page of the homepage. That didn't work either.

I actually just got it to work. The last thing I could think of trying was to delete all Search Input and Results modules, Delete the Search page, empty the recyle bin, then add a new Search Page, add a New Search Results module, and it started working.
