Hello,

I have an installation of DNN with 2 portals. I'm starting to develope the second one in this days. I'd like to deny the access to the 2° portal until it is finished, so I would block IP address different from my dmz and lan. How can I do this? If I block the site from IIS, also the first one will be blocked...

Thank you

Which version of IIS are you using? If you're using IIS 7.0, you can use the IPv4 Address and Domain Restrictions to create a rule for the IP address range you want to allow to a specific web site.

This quick dirty code should do the job :)
Open the default.aspx.vb in your root folder.
In the Page_Load
Add the following code:

If Request.UserHostAddress <> "10.1.1.1" Then (Add another condition to check the second domain url in here)
   Response.Redirect("to your first site")
End If

Note: 10.1.1.1 => is your Lan ip address
You may add extra if condition for DMZ ip address range.

Remember to remove this code, when you complete your second portal.

Hope this help.
