Re: hi

Hi Roja,

First, welcome to the forums and to DotNetNuke.  The community here is generally VERY helpful in answering questions, but keep in mind that assistance will generally take place in the public forums -- by our assisting new users here, that help might benefit others down the line.

Second, much of your experience with DotNetNuke will be highly self-directed, and you'll likely spend a lot of time at first searching for resources.  It will take some time for you to familiarize yourself with the particulars of the framework.  Consider it an investment that will pay off down the road.

That said, if you are just getting started, I would recommend looking at these resources:

The DotNetNuke demo site, where you can play with administration,

The DotNetNuke installation guide, to deploy your own installation, and

One of the many DotNetNuke books to get you started.

Hope this helps!

Brandon

Re: hi

 Hi,

As brandon mentioned there are a number of resources out there, depending on what you need.

First of all I would recommend installing DotNetNuke and playing around with it to get used to the way it works. I have a blog about this here Installing DotNetNuke.

Secondly, sometimes the default performance isn't the best, so I have a blog series How I Get My DNN Sites To Run So Fast.

Then, depending on your needs, there are books such as Professional DotNetNuke 4 or Professional DotNetNuke 5, that help with some of the how-to items.  If you are looking into development, my book Professional DotNetNuke Module Programming is also a good resource.  Michael Washington's site is also a good resource http://dotnetnuke.adefwebserver.com
