Hello, I have a problem configuring Forum module.

I created an empty page and I have placed Forum in it's content. Then, I went to Settings of the Forum module on my page and in security area, I have checked Edit checkbox, for Registered Users.

I have made 3 tests: view forum as guest, as site admin and as registered user.

The Forum and it's content is showing ok. I can view only posts while I am guest, and I can view and create new threads when I am Site Admin or Registered User.

The problem is: The commands buttons, to access Forum's admin are visible for Site Admin and for Registered Users. That means, that registered users, have rights to do whatever they want in the forum form posting a thread, to delete posts and create new forums, and I do not want that.

How do I restrict access to forum's admin area to all users, except Site Admin?

Registered users must only view posts and create new threads, but not administrate the forum.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Ok, now it's resolved,

So, first, you should give rights for all the forums that you have created, inside Forum Administration/Manage Forums. Select your particular forum and click on Edit and then go to General Settings. There, you have to check what you need to provide the correct rights to the users.

And second, users that I have created for testing puproses had all the same and unique Email that admin had, so maybe, somehow they inherited admin`s rights.
