Is there some trick in 5.0 to add javascript include files?

I tried copying some in the default.aspx HTML and I got a lot of "Script Injection" messages at the top of the page.  This didn't happen in 4.9.2.

Is there a way of me putting my own javascript files in here?

Thanks.

you should not modify default.asxp, as that would be a core mod, which will make it harder to upgrade in future

you could use a skinobject or module to inject javascript in the page, or you can just put it in the skin

I placed the js files in the folder with the skin files and the js files didn't load.  How do I make this work?

Thanks.

you can go to page settings and load your script there under page header tags. Not all cases, but you can also load it in the html header under module settings too.

Example: < script src="/my file location/myscript.js" >< /script >

less spaces of course

Also works good for loading custom CSS files into the page header.
