I'm using DNN 4.9.1 and I need to hide a module for specific roles. I've seen it is a new feature of DNN 5 but how I can solve with DNN 4.9.1? is it possible?

Thanks

In DNN 8 this granular permission feature is no more available, how we can hide a page or module to specific role?

You could try unchecking the box "Inherit view settings from page", then manually selecting view options for only the roles you want to allow to see the module, making sure to leave the view setting unchecked for the role which should not be able to see the module.

Thanks Warren, but I need of hide not the view permission. I’ve a module visible for all registered user but I want hide it if the user is also in other specific  role. I can workaround this only with hide permission with override on view permission.
