Why is something so simple not built into the solpartmenu system after all these iterations?  I have a link to a secure PDF in the same portal and I simply want it to open in a new window.  Gosh, that sounds so simple but there is no way to do it.  I could hard code each link as you have suggested above but then I would need to change the url on each link when I move from dev to production. I can't use domain aliasing because of the security issue. Got any suggestions?

I too could use some help on this problem. I used to use a void(); call but that doesnt seem to work anymore in DNN 4.9.3

This works in 4.9.3.  Enter like this in the URL field

void(window.open('http://www.sitename.com'))

Use single quotes around the url, not double.

I'm trying to do the same thing in 5.1.1 - this solution is not working for me.  Anyone have other ideas?

Make sure that you put: void(window.open('....'))
