Oh, goodness. I have a forum myself and see the ladies post about being a "noob", for whatever that means (which I am still wondering), I must hang my head and ask if someone will pity me and get me started with my Dot Net Nuke installation.

Until I finally got my DNN installed I have never seen it before (other than other websites) but I am determined to re-write my website with it.

I purchased a module so I would have something to work with, and have since uploaded and installed it. But, when I go to the pages (admin -> pages) and I hover my mouse over the menu I do not see any links to add a module. I have played with the page layout view (layout, edit and preview) and up in that area one time I managed to get some type of mini control panel to appear but still wasn't able to actually get a module control panel to appear.

Will someone be so kind as to tell me where I find the module control panel or how I get started here?  Do I have to add a new skin before I add any modules?  I have spent a long time reading and looking at the how-to's but they start at the control panel part, which I can't seem to find.

Any help would be so very appreciated!  Thank you so much!
Jeanne

Jeanne,

if you are logged in as admin user (or user with granted edit permission for a page), you will see "mode" at the top left corner of the window and "expand control panel" on the right. Afted you expanded control panel, you will see "add new module" in the center. Select your module, enter name and click add.

That did it!

I think maybe I was just too tired to be pushing it yesterday.  I knew I had to be just missing a little something.

Thanks for the help and quick response!
