Hello,

I have the following situation in my university:
-a 4.9 portal with about 30000 users (students and teachers) with DNN authentication provider
-each user also has an email address ( 2 separate domains, for students and teachers).

we would like to be able to do the following with our DNN instalation:
-1) implement LDAP authentication. Please advise if using the current AD authentication provider would work on LDAP server (not AD)
-2) what happens if an user forgets one's password? how could the password be retrieved but not via email (because of 1. the user would have the same password for both the email and the portal). Is it possible to add now the switch in the config for the Q/A password? Or? Please advise...

Thank you,
Catalin
