I've been using the mass e-mail feature successfully for quite a while, but I recently noticed that people who sign up for my portals with Yahoo or SBCGlobal accounts never receive any e-mails from the site whether automated or from the newsletter screen. Hundred of users from other domains get all the e-mails fine.

I tried registering on my site using my own yahoo e-mail account and I sure enough I never received any registration e-mails or any other type of mail from the site! The bulkmail report shows 100% success, and there was nothing in my spam folder or my inbox. In the same mass e-mail (newsletter screen) I put my yahoo account, my g-mail and my other e-mail address as recipients and both non-yahoo accounts receive the message fine.

There don't appear to be any bouncebacks to the sender's address either. What could be going on?

PLEASE help!! Thanks,
Robert

Did you check spam filter settings on your Yahoo account?  There's nothing in DNN you can do, but using a legitimate, properly configured mail server will help.  It's also encumbant on your users to allow the mail through their spam filters.

That's the problem... the messages don't even show up in their spam folders. I'll triple check to verify. I also checked the badmail drop folder and there didn't appear to be any returns there.

Ask your host about HELO on the mail server you're using; also see what they have in place (if anything) for reverse DNS against the mail server.

You might also consider checking up on SPF records, reverse DNS, etc.  Personally, I use dnsstuff.com to help chase down domain (and mail related) issues... it's been pretty helpful and I think you can check a couple of domains for free.

Cheers
