hiii all,

 

i am getting the following error some times after i logged in into the site....

any one please help me in this .

unhandled error............

error Details........

the insert statement conflicted with the Foriegn key constraint "FK_EVENTLOG_EVENTLOGTYPES" . the colflict occured in datase "databasename " , column "LgTypeKEY". the statement has been terminated.

please tell me how to fix this....

May I suggest to use a more subject based title (e.g. EventLog Foreign key problem after installation) for your posts in the future, please.

It looks like a needed Log type entry is missing, what has been changed before this issue occurrec the first time?

You may truncate the eventlog to get rid of all existing entries using a SQL Server management Tool using the following statement after attaching to the database:

TRUNCATE TABLE EVENTLOG.
