Greetings,

I have DNN 4.0.2 installed in a Win2k server (IIS 5) with MS SQL 2005, Visual Studio 2005, and Exchange 2003. I have set up DNN to run as a separate website under IIS (not under default website). DNN installed with a few hiccups but with the help of my wife (a .NET programmer), we got things working.  I can log into the "base" DNN install, but I cannot create parent portals.  Child portals work just fine, but when creating a parent portal, upon browsing to the new portal, I get a "Under Construction" page.

We have checked, double-checked, and triple-checked the DNN install and we are convinced that it is working.  Permissions are set properly, and the script works very well with the exception being the parent level portals.  We suspect the problem is with IIS working with DNN.

I am hoping for suggestions or perhaps some further troubleshooting steps we can take to try to figure this one out.

Thanks in advance!
